A Date With the Future(2023)

Summary: Ten years before, Xu Lai, a high school student, was on the verge of death due to a terrible earthquake. She was only rescued by the courage and fast thinking of a young fireman named Jin Shi Chuan. She fell in love with him as he saved her from the falling debris, and they made a consoling “promise”; once they separated, she vowed to find him again at any costs.
Jin Shi Chuan has now attained the rank of captain after ten years. Xu Lai is now a reporter for the news. Jin Shi Chuan comes to her rescue once again in the event of a serious highway catastrophe. Although she instantly knows him, he does not and believes she is merely a trouble-making reporter. Even worse, her report is misrepresented, which has caused the fire service to come under criticism on social media!
However, Xu Lai still has feelings for him, and she is determined to make amends and regain his heart by any means necessary. She goes on to become a dog trainer and assists in raising specialized firefighting dogs that will aid rescues in their work. She becomes closer to Jin Shi Chuan as a result. However, he is deeply scarred by prior trauma. Can the agony be eased by Xu Lai’s love?
