The White Olive Tree (2025)

Summary: Song Ran, a female reporter for Liang City satellite TV, is in danger while conducting an interview in the dangerous East Country. Fortunately, she is saved by Li Zan, a Chinese explosive engineer who volunteers in the East Country. Li Zan’s tenderness and innocent heart captivate Song Ran.

Through her interactions with Song Ran, Li Zan finds that, while she appears weak on the surface, she is brave and strong, with a heart full of justice and generosity. With similar values and compatible souls, a spark of love sparks between the two. However, a surprise bombing attack ends their growing romance.

After returning to China, they experienced bad moments in their life and even lost communication. They are both physically and mentally suffering, as Li Zan feels terrible and blames himself for the murder of his comrade, who gave his life to save him in the bombing assault, while Song Ran becomes embroiled in a debate over a photo she shot during the blast. By coincidence, they reconnect, and their lives gradually return to normal. Together, they sow the white olive tree seeds.
