Summary: Shen Xi Fan is an incredibly dedicated hotel room manager. She visits a Chinese medicine doctor for help with her insomnia and migraines brought on by her demanding job. It is during this visit that she meets He Su Ye, a charming and good-looking doctor. But she’s so busy with work that she forgets to take the medication, which gives He Su Ye headaches every time.

They were only ever meant to be a doctor-patient relationship at first, but it soon became clear that they actually reside in the same town, and it was these serendipitous meetings that allowed their love to blossom. A past heartbreak has made Shen Xi Fan wary about rushing into anything new. Since his first love left him, He Su Ye has kept his heart closed.

Shen Xi Fan and He Su Ye develop a close relationship over time. During the “awkward” stage of their contacts, He Su Ye learns about love and decides he wants it for himself. Shen Xi Fan was also helped to discover who she was and meet her soulmate by He Su Ye’s dogged pursuit of traditional Chinese medicine.
