Synopsis:
Closer to You 2 maintains the same aesthetic tenor as the first season and follows Han Fei as she returns to her undergraduate days and reunites with her boyfriend Wu Jing Hao, who was thought to be laying comatose in a hospital bed. While attempting to understand the enigmas of fate, they continue their romantic journey.
Wu Jing Hao put herself in a coma ten years ago to rescue Han Fei, and she has been patiently awaiting his recovery ever since. Han Fei, who is 28 years old, accidentally goes back in time to the university’s commencement ceremony. Wu Jing Hao ought to have been in the hospital if things had remained the same. Wu Jing Hao has instead partially forgotten his recollections. Despite having many unanswered concerns, Han Fei enters Wu Jing Hao’s life once more to carry on their relationship. She learns along the way that there is no escaping fate.
