Synopsis:
A love story between a noblewoman and a mystery guy who appears in her village in the 1600s, during the Qing conquest.
Yu Gil Chae is a beautiful, cheerful, and somewhat spoilt young girl known as the 99-tailed fox of Neunggun-ri. She is also something of an outsider since other young females are envious of her. They seem to believe she’s too direct and her manner is improper for a young woman, whilst young noblemen think favorably of her. Gil Chae understands how to make men fall for her, but she fails to win over the heart of the person she adores.
Lee Jang Hyun is a mystery guy who comes unexpectedly in the Neunggun-ri social scene. Nobody actually knows anything about him. The young nobility dislike him, but the old adore him. He’s been dating a lot, but he becomes fascinated about a specific 99-tailed fox, and one day, the fox actually crashes into his arms.
When war breaks out, the couple is separated before they can process their emotions.
