Road Home (2023)

Summary: Gui Xiao and Lu Yan Chen met at school, on a middle school playground. They fell in love with one other at first sight. And as they grew older, their feelings for each other intensified. They became inseparable and wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. But life had different plans for them.

Gui Xiao’s familial situation changes. And Lu Yan Chen ends up training as a special police officer, which sends him to a completely different section of the country. Lu Yan Chen’s training is rigorous, muscular, and intensive. Meanwhile, Gui Xiao decides to pursue a career in finance. Despite the fact that they now live in different worlds, their love remains strong, and they attempt to maintain a long-distance relationship. This fades until, years later, Gui Xiao discovers a compelling cause to call Lu Yan Chen once more.
