Synopsis:
Guan Wen advanced through the ranks of a multinational corporation and gained a reputation as a “invincible opponent for unreasonable clients.” Guan Wen, however, was set up by her subordinates just before her birthday, so she decided to “resign naked” (without the security of a new employment). It’s been suggested that you can select any profession you desire after you’re over thirty and have a ton of experience.
Surprisingly, however, Guan Wen had trouble landing a job. She was forced to choose a job within a recently built mall after several unsuccessful interviews. Although it seems like she went from being a Party B to a Party A, this run-down mall is really experiencing a lot of issues that make it difficult for businesses to come in.
Guan Wen also happened to run across Ding Ning, her frigid and cruel ex-boyfriend from college. He had harsh criticisms for her. As they collaborate, their relationship shifts from disagreement to ambiguity and from improving to ending. There are several adult metrics and factors to take into account. Guan Wen has a conundrum. She doesn’t want Ding Ning to give in and give up his profession to support her. Thus, after giving it some thought, she chooses to make her own choices.
In the meanwhile, Guan Wen’s two girlfriends—retired athlete Chen Xuan Xuan and former actress Jing Zhi Qiu—face their own personal setbacks. One’s marriage is in terrible condition, and their years of love have been called into question. So how can they combat these obstacles in life? They are their own greatest armaments, if life were like a war. It doesn’t matter whether they are older than thirty. If you fail every time, does that really matter? Proceed to combat that! Nobody wants to fail. They must not only prevail, but do so decisively.
