Synopsis:
The demon lord Ni Lun was destroyed, leaving the demon clan in shambles as they fled into the mortal realm. Chong Zi is pure and compassionate, despite the fact that she is Ni Lun’s daughter. She gets desperate to cultivate at Nanhua after being spared by the immortal Chu Bu Fu, but she is turned down since it has been predicted that she would become a monster.
At this point, the elderly Luo Yin Fan accepts Chong Zi as his sole apprentice. Chong Zi is completely dependant on Luo Yin Fan and would do anything to be at his side. Luo Yin Fan, in exchange, swears to defend her. A plot leads to Chong Zi’s arrest, and Luo Yin Fan is powerless to intervene, resulting in her murder for the sake of peace.
Chong Zi returns to Nanhua in her second life. Luo Yin Fan notices her at first sight. To protect her, he traps the terrible miasma within her and keeps her near, thereby maintaining their master-disciple connection. There is, however, no way to stop the wheel of fate. Chong Zi is once again the target of a slew of arrows. In a burst of wrath, she embraces her evil side and crosses the line.
Destiny has played a cruel joke on the star-crossed lovers: one is the venerable master who bears the weight of the universe on his shoulders, while the other has demon clan blood coursing through her veins. They helplessly fell in love, helplessly turned against one other, and still they can’t get away from their feelings. Can their love destabilize the laws of heaven and earth?
