Synopsis:
The plot is set during the Ming Dynasty and centers around a romance between General Xu Ling Yi and the concubine’s daughter Shi Yi Niang, which begins with an arranged marriage. Shi Yi Niang, despite her poor birth rank, is exceedingly forceful and feels that a woman’s perspective should not be restricted to the family. She aspires to use her stitching abilities to gain her freedom.
However, the once-prominent Luo family is in decline. Shi Yi Niang is chosen to marry Yongping Duke and famous General Xu Ling Yi in the hopes of saving the clan through a marital arrangement. Because of the Xu family’s prejudices towards her, things were difficult for her. Despite this, she manages to gain their trust via her optimism and genuineness. Xu Ling Yi is also drawn to her different lovely features, thus husband and wife feel love after marriage.
Shi Yi Niang opens Xian Ling Pavillion with the help of Xu Ling Yi to run her own embroidery workshop. Meanwhile, Xu Ling Yi faces several hurdles in his efforts to safeguard his nation and enhance people’s livelihoods by advocating the repeal of a marine prohibition. Xu Ling Yi and Shi Yi Niang continue to support each other in the midst of a catastrophe that might mean the end of the Xu family.
