Synopsis:
Xiao Chun Sheng and his friends Ye Guo Hua and Chen Hong Jun were raised in the same courtyard by military and government families. They assist each other through army, gaokao, sea, and business adventures. They also meet Beijing doctor-aspiring Tong Xiao Mei. During China’s 1970s reform period, regular people grew and changed.
