You Are My Desire (2023)

Synopsis:

Lin Yu Jing and her dad relocate to a new city after her parents’ divorce, where she sits next to “ill-tempered” Shen Juan at school. They reconnect, split, then rejoin at university.
Lin Yu Jing was nervous about adapting to a mixed family following her father’s remarriage, but her stepmother and stepbrother Fu Ming Xiu embraced her. She believed it would be hard to fit in, yet she soon makes friends at her new school. Her arrival affects Shen Juan, her new seat companion who was delayed a year.
Lin Zhi, Lin Yu Jing’s mother, forces her back to her village just when her life was improving. A year later, she sees Shen Juan in university. She finds that Shen Juan’s family has suffered and he hasn’t recovered. Shen Juan slowly emerges from the cloud with Lin Yu Jing and their classmates. Lin Yu Jing also finds her path.
