Synopsis:

Never-Ending Summer (2026), adapted from the web novel “Zhui Luo” (坠落) by Tian Cu Yu, the drama follows Zhou Wan, a hardworking and determined top student who is desperately trying to raise money for her grandmother’s life-saving surgery. After receiving no support from the mother who abandoned her years ago, Zhou Wan turns to Lu Xi Xiao—her mother’s stepson and a rebellious young man from a wealthy family—in hopes of finding a way to cover the medical expenses.

As they spend the summer together after graduation, Zhou Wan and Lu Xi Xiao gradually grow closer, helping each other navigate personal struggles, family burdens, and the uncertainties of young adulthood. What begins as an unlikely connection slowly blossoms into love. However, misunderstandings and the pressures of reality eventually tear them apart, bringing their youthful romance to an abrupt end.

A decade later, fate reunites them in the workplace. Still carrying the wounds of the past, Lu Xi Xiao initially treats Zhou Wan with resentment, only to discover that his feelings for her have never truly faded.
