Synopsis:
The story depicts parasites that descend from space, start to kill, and take control of human bodies and minds by feeding on their victims. The protagonist of the tale is Jung Soo In, who contracts a parasite on her hand and begins an unusual cohabitation while the parasite fails to take over her brain.
The head of the parasitic life squad “The Grey,” Choi Jun Kyung, lives solely to eradicate the parasite water after losing her spouse to it. Seol Kang Woo pursues the parasitic water in an attempt to locate his sister, who has vanished from sight.
