Synopsis:
Zhou Luo, a straight-A student, is the first from Qingshui Town to be accepted into a famous institution. However, he returns to his hometown before finishing his degree and attends a cram school to retake a year of school. His choice has created quite a stir in this little community. If he hadn’t been subjected to criticism, he would never have seen Nan Ya, another topic of discussion.
Nan Ya is a stunning clothes business owner who is often the subject of gossip. She goes between the clothes business and her house every day to care for her ailing daughter, Wan Wan. As Zhou Luo learns more about Nan Ya, he sees that her marriage is not joyful, and her husband, Xu Yi, a businessman, has a cruel side at home. Zhou Luo observed how Xu Yi attacked Nan Ya. Furthermore, the “Bridge Case” throws light on various aspects of Xu Yi’s commercial practices. All this puts Nan Ya’s marriage in peril.
